Digging a trench through your established landscaping or driveway is NOT an option..

Plumbing Zone replaces and installs water service lines using a directional boring machine, leaving the surface of yards and lawns virtually undisturbed.

This method used a hydraulic press to push and pull steel rods in and out of the ground while direction and depth are monitored and controlled by a radio sonde and its associated locator. This process is highly effective while affordable.

The most digging required is a hole 4.5 feet long by 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep to accomodate the machine and rods. After piercing the ground we can pull back a roll of soft copper line or a roll of PEX (cross-linked polyethylene).

Roll of soft copper

Soft copper rolls in 3/4" or 1" size are typically used for residential applications.

PEX rolls

PEX is less expensive than copper. It comes in different colors and sizes. 3/4" or 1" size are typically used for residential applications.
